What we collect
Your account — name, email and a password, stored only as a one-way hash. What you log — workouts, dates, times, distances, reps and any notes. Optional body stats — weight, height, sex and age, only if you want calorie or BMI estimates. Your groups — the families or crews you join, plus points, streaks and challenges. Connected services — if you connect something like Strava, the activity data you authorize.
We never ask for government ID numbers, payment cards or precise real-time location.
Where it is stored
A copy of your workouts lives in your own browser on your device, so the app is fast and your log is readable without waiting on the network. When you sign in, the information needed for shared features is also stored on our server. Clearing your browser data removes the local copy, and you can export everything to a file anytime from Settings.
Who can see what
Every workout carries a visibility setting you control: Public, Family, or Only me. Points and standings are shared inside your group — that's the game — but a workout marked Only me still earns its points without showing its details. Body stats and personal goals stay private and are never shown to your group.
Service messages such as password resets, verification codes and group notices are part of using the app. We may also send occasional news about VizyFit — every one of those includes an unsubscribe link that works in one click and takes effect right away. We use a third-party provider to send them, and we never sell your address.
Connected services
Optional. Access is stored on our server, never in your browser, and limited to what's needed to import your activities. Disconnect anytime in Settings. Those services have their own privacy policies.
How we protect it
HTTPS throughout, hashed passwords, hashed sign-in tokens, and throttled failed logins. Optional app-based two-step verification is built and will be switched on in the app shortly; this page will say so plainly when it is.
Your choices
Export your data, edit your profile and workouts, set visibility per workout, unsubscribe from news in one click, or delete your account yourself at any time from Settings → Account & sign-in → Delete my account. Deleting is immediate and permanent: your workouts, points, streaks, profile, login, crew memberships, any family members you manage and their activity, and your Strava connection all go, and we ask Strava to forget us too. We keep nothing back.
Children
Accounts are for people 13 and older, and we don't knowingly collect information from a child under 13. Younger family members can still take part as a parent-managed member: an adult adds a first name or nickname and logs their workouts for them. The child has no account, no login and no email, and gives us nothing directly — we hold only the name the adult typed and the activity the adult recorded, and we never build an advertising profile from it. The managing adult can remove that member at any time, which deletes their activity with them.
Changes
If we make a meaningful change we'll update the date above and tell you in the app where it matters.
